- Details – Client was a Fed-Ex driver en route when t-boned by Defendant in a Hummer on Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Client suffered damage to back and bladder and now has lower back pain and numbness in the feet, resulting in permanent disability.

Pipe fitter Settles Claim for $400,000 After Falling into a Sewer at a Grocery Store

- Details – Client retained Defendant approximately one month after the death of her husband to file workers’ compensation death claim. Defendant failed to file a claim within the two-year Statute of Limitations.

Manufacture’s Sales Rep Receives $191,000 After Attorney Poorly Argued Contract Dispute

- Details – Client retained Defendant to file lawsuit against former employer for unpaid commissions. Client had a verbal contract with former employer which was reduced to writing several years after verbal contract. Defendant ignored written contract and argued verbal contract which resulted in the Judge granting Defendant’s Motion for Summary Judgment stating there was no oral contract. The court stated there was a written contract and since Defendant failed to argue a written contract they abandoned the argument. Legal malpractice suit against client’s former attorney was settled following discovery.

Manufacture’s sales representative settles for $300,000 after Manufacturer falsified sales figures to reduce rep’s commission

- Venue – US District Court – Eastern District of Michigan
- Details – Client, a manufacture’s sales representative, brought suit against manufacture when they failed to pay him the agreed 5% commission of gross sales from a large sales contract he brought to the manufacturer. The manufacturer played with sales figures totaling over $8.4 million over several years in order to cheat client out of his commission. After extensive review of manufacturer’s sales records and financial documents, we were able to determine the actual amount of gross sales relating to client’s agreement with defendant and quickly settled just shy of the actual cash value of the commission he had earned.
