David B. Mammel
 Principal

David Mammel joined the firm in 2001. He specializes in estate planning, wills, trusts, probate and defense of medical malpractice and civil rights lawsuits.

David is dedicated to educating the public on issues in estate planning including providing assets and care to loved ones, limiting taxes, and establishing healthcare protocols. David strives to serve each individual client’s estate planning needs, tailoring each plan to address wealth preservation and family financial security.

With respect to defense litigation, David has successfully defended numerous lawsuits through dismissals or “no cause” jury verdicts.

David is the president of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Birmingham, Michigan and has served as a church elder for 7 years. He and his wife, Filippa, have two children, Jonathan and Angela.
